I hadn't know of LaVeyan Satanism, thank you for an interesting read. It has made me think that perhaps I should work back from what I think might be important so that I can find ritual that does have some meaning.
There could easily be community involvement too once I find where to finally settle: one lesson from undergraduate life at Cambridge was that if I want something to happen, just announce it, and people tend to turn up.
