Small successes: mattress; car

My open-coil mattress may indeed have settled: my lower back no longer aches each morning. Perhaps it did not much matter which mattress I bought so long as I replaced my previous foam one which was developing a pronounced depression.

Our Fiat Panda has no interior rear-view mirror. It turns out not to be easy to obtain the mount clip that one bonds to the windshield. I do not mind driving with just the side mirrors: it is like one of the old pickup trucks I sometimes borrowed or a moving truck. Fortunately, a local garage has sourced a mount clip from an Aberdeen scrapyard so we should get that next week after my Thanksgiving break.

Maybe they are not the traditional choices but I can include the above among the things for which I am thankful.
