If my neighbors are far enough away, as they were in our Ohio house, then that could be fine. A community small enough I can build roots in it over time might compensate for my moving around and the general lack of local family and friends that I've had for some time. My lack of faith in God may be a hindrance in rural America but I hope to live within enough reach of a college or somesuch that I have a better chance of finding like-minded near-locals.
