I sure agree, I'd hate to have to learn English as a second language. I'm just surprised at how there seem to be so many people, in my experience, who speak English rather well, and how much difficulty corporations have in finding any of them for jobs that are much about speaking English! In terms of regularity, maybe somebody will pay me to learn lojban.

Heh, it reminds me a bit of singers. Some fairly rotten singers get national television exposure and some great singers can be heard busking in town centers or even in karaoke bars.
