Buoyant markets
Dec. 18th, 2020 07:57 amA curious effect of the markets doing so well lately, presumably with approved vaccines, renewed stimulus talks, etc., is that nearly all of my sell orders have now triggered and, not liking to buy stocks that are already near record highs, I am now mostly cashed out and, with everything else going on with my relocation, without the spare time to figure any adjustment of that.
I am struck by that, in a sense, I am hoping for bad news, at least news that shakes the markets a little. It always seems to come but, at least for that we have had lately, investors seem confident that it will all still work out. We shall see what happens, it is just odd for me to seem to be finding myself in broad agreement with others about various earnings prospects.
