Hapag-Lloyd move slowly

Three weeks ago I mentioned the loading of my goods and effects into an intermodal container. Last Sunday, when I saw stacks of containers at Grangemouth, little did I know that one of them could have been mine: it turns out that it sets off to Charleston, SC, only today! This is already shaping up to be the longest transatlantic shipment I have experienced. I move to Tennessee next week so if I get otherwise set up fairly promptly then I shall probably ask if I may start work earlier and just take a couple of days when the shipment is finally through customs and being delivered.
