Swimming

I actually bothered to go swimming this morning. For many months I went each weekday but I just haven't wanted to lately, I don't know if because I know it is coming to an end in a few months' time, or because I have been trying to cut back on some things to make time for other things. It could be the latter: I am not sorry to be watching less television than I was this time last year, and switching to a new laptop has taken up time too, along with Spring and the return of yard work.

Despite a mild headache this morning's swim was okay; it felt slightly more like a joy than a chore. I shall try to get to bed at a reasonable time tonight in the hope of feeling sufficiently refreshed in the morning to actually swim two mornings in a row.
