This is somewhat true of their television channel too but the example freshest in my mind is their website twice today bringing up the breaking news that another senior politician said that an incident in which people were stabbed and killed is, in some way, a very bad thing. I would prefer them to reserve the pushing of alerts for items that might genuinely come as a surprise, like the initial incident, not everybody's predictable reaction to it.
