I have mentioned how, since I lost eighty pounds, I have felt cold and been disappointed to not seem to be able to eat more than around 8MJ of food per day without regaining weight. In watching for early signs of COVID-19 I have been taking my temperature sublingually and finding the readings to be lower than I expected, e.g., my latest reading from our digital thermometer was 96.0°F which is certainly low for men's oral temperature; I often seem to read under 97°F. Now I read that lower temperature is commonly observed in people who have lost much weight so I wonder if mine would have read higher back when I was obese. Regardless of the past, at least I have a current baseline.

My temperature has always run about 97.6. Maybe thinner people just run a lower temp?

I do know that I'm the person who's always freezing at work in the summer because of the air conditioning, and everyone who's heavier than me feels perfectly comfortable.
