I had mentioned last Sunday's fat snowflakes. They fell slowly and vertically. This morning's snow is smaller and drifts sideways more as it falls. It is settling quite well but, as usual, I expect it to mostly melt later on. It makes timing the tree-pruning difficult when the tree buds before the winter weather is past. I had expected to sort the pile of twigs and branches I cut but those can wait for a warmer sunnier day. We buy an annual permit for the garden waste to go in with the compostable food waste so the twigs can go into that. I saw the thicker parts of the branches into short sections, leave them a year in the garage to dry some, then the following summer use them on the barbecue with the charcoal.

Update: Now into the afternoon the snow is still falling.

I'm so proud of myself for managing to prune my crepe myrtle before it budded. It's been crazy in Florida, because the weather was in the 80s in February, so everything is blooming and budding WAY too early.
