New house and car

In my first full week here I have made good progress. I returned the rental car and bought a 1.6ℓ Kia Rio. I looked at houses and am buying a ranch-style family home in Oak Ridge itself, plenty of brick and wood, closing next month; I meet the inspection team there this Tuesday. Next week I shall start researching furniture, utility providers, etc., for the house. It also still needs a couple of appliances, such as refrigerator, washer, dryer.

For my driver license, I studied for and passed the knowledge test then booked the road skills test, there happened to be a Friday 13th slot available! The knowledge test has been a source of stress because, although multiple choice, ( it is tough. )

I scored 100%, which is most agreeable indeed, and I am relieved to be past the weight of having to be ready to be examined on such material.
