I made some mead, and amazingly it was still meadlike after I left it in the demijohn for [mumble] about five years. Everyone made me throw it away anyway, but it seemed very much better tempered than wines I have tried to make in the past, and maybe someday I will be able to progress things with less than a five year turnaround.
