Going without a mask?

mtbcIt comes as a strange surprise to see the CDC already telling me that, being fully vaccinated, I now seem to be able to become rather carefree. I have my masks with HEPA filters, hand sanitizer in the house and car, etc., but apparently I hardly ever need to bother any more. Well, I would for work, but I expect that advice to change soon too. Being skeptical, I also checked the local case rates, and they're already down to levels reminiscent of last June.
On the one hand, I would love to believe it. On the other, I don't want to cause COVID-19 in anybody and I trust the CDC less after they so dragged their feet on recognizing the evidence of airborne transmission. So, for now, I shall remain cautious but also watch with interest for further news.
