I actually got up without much reluctance this morning and somewhat enjoyed swimming. I wonder what changed there and if I can bottle it. I'll try not to get too late a night tonight.

Work was slightly awkward: I was writing some matrix code for SVG-based affine transformations in PL/pgSQL, as indeed one might in a strange alternative universe, and I found that I got the correct answers only if I changed a couple of signs and orders of operations to be the opposite of what I expected. SVG thinks of increasing-y as being downward, not upward, and I wondered if that could be the cause of my confusion.

This evening was spent somewhat in computer upgrades: with the latest vulnerabilities affecting both OpenSSL and LibreSSL that meant attending to our Debian, Void, and OpenBSD machines. It all went quite smoothly at least.
