I like living in a marginal seat here in Scotland. I also liked back when we lived in central Ohio because campaigns would put plenty of effort into courting votes. Having voted today I am now rather curious about the result. Last time Pete Wishart of the SNP beat the previous Conservative candidate by only a hair. I suspect that the weight of local support is against Brexit but I wonder how well that overlaps with also being against Scottish independence. I do not expect the Brexit Party to draw many votes away from the Conservatives but I wonder how many Remain voters cannot stomach a tactical vote for the SNP. Tomorrow we discover the outcome.
