Food plan awareness
Jul. 17th, 2021 08:46 amI shop for groceries weekly, and try to use plenty of fresh food, so I need to know a fair part of the coming week's food plan, though I also have longer-lived fallback items in stock. At times, I notice how often it helps to remember tomorrow's plans. For example, today I am making cheeseburgers for lunch so, yesterday, I put the frozen patties in the refrigerator to thaw. Tomorrow, I plan to use saffron, so I shall soak it overnight once I've powdered it from the threads. Then, the following evening, I plan to cook beans, so tomorrow I shall set those soaking, also put some swai in the refrigerator to thaw. There appear to be all kinds of food preparation that begin many hours in advance.
