A visiting raccoon
Jun. 12th, 2021 05:25 pmLate last night, a raccoon was removed from my attic. Before it departed on its journey to a suitable rural environment, I had the opportunity to study it in its cage, my first good look at one, previously I had glimpsed them more briefly and distantly. This raccoon fit my mental image well. Most interesting was its behavior, it strongly reminded me of how a cat might behave in similar circumstances. Given how intelligent and cute they are, now I see why people domesticate them, though one may not here in Tennessee. Part of this round of work on the house includes preventing the ingress of further intruders.
