Today turned out to be very pleasant for a fall walk: sunshine soon melted the morning frost and we made our way up to the top of Kinnoull Hill which affords lovely views both up and down the Tay and southward toward the Kingdom of Fife. It is worth taking the walk slowly, we saw a robin within the first few minutes and the woodland has plenty of different kinds of tree, along with ferns, moss and lichen. It rather echoed a similar walk we took a few years ago.
