Visit of the small creatures

There are many tiny black crawling creatures outdoors. The outside of our front door had many on it yesterday evening. A storm moved through overnight and this morning I did not see any of them but now some have returned. I wonder what they are. My family tell me that they come every year for a short time and are related to something that happens on the local farms. This reminds me of our house in Ohio which would fill with ladybugs after the harvest.

Some improvement in exercise and life

My workouts ran slower for a while but are now speeding up again despite the warmer weather. At the same time, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs have finally issued the certificate I need for filing our 2018 taxes with the Internal Revenue Service and by day I am working on server code and tests that I understand rather than battling Hibernate internals and Ansible playbooks and fielding mysterious user queries. I still suspect that stress is a significant factor that slows my exercise.
