A windy day
Jun. 14th, 2018 07:05 pmStorm Hector hit Scotland today with, from our point of view in the East, plenty of wind. On my way into work there were many leaves blown on the roads and setting off for home I saw many whitecaps on the Firth. For my children's route home their school bus avoided the Friarton Bridge and instead crossed to our side of the River Tay at a rather less exposed point. The Forth Road Bridge was closed for much of the day and many other bridges were closed at least to high-sided vehicles.
