Suspending milk delivery

mtbcWith the warmer weather associated with summer's advent, also how warm the house becomes despite our having the central heating turned off, I have been keeping the bedroom window open a little. The window is at the front of the house and at around 4h40 the milkman drives up and delivers milk to our doorstep. I think that typically I may be sleeping more lightly at that time: I am usually awoken by the engine running outside briefly but mst3kmoxie sleeps right through it.
I am the main consumer of the bottled milk that we have delivered so with little risk of disappointing others I choose sleep instead: we will cancel the deliveries until after the summer. It is nice to have fresh milk in glass bottles but not that nice. Still, I am surprised that the delivery is a problem for me given that otherwise I usually sleep soundly.
