Date: 2017-09-13 08:06 am (UTC)I remember a series of spams a few years ago which all had the subject line 'Night of Pleasure', except that they kept inserting random misspellings into that phrase in the usual sort of attempt to fool strict-pattern-matching spam filters.
After about ten such spams, one of them had a randomly inserted typo that promised me a 'Night off Pleasure'. I felt that was probably appropriate – after all those nights of pleasure, you could imagine someone might need some actual sleep for a change!
Perhaps I am no longer a youth.
I had a similar feeling a while back when I began to realise that on seeing a scantily clad member of my preferred gender walking around the street, my internal reaction had quietly slipped from 'phwoar!' to 'brrrr, that looks chilly'.
