Pomelos and amaretti morbidi

Some days ago mst3kmoxie came home from Lidl with nice foods to eat. Both were new to me:

pomelos

These appear rather like white grapefruit but I expect that rather more people would find them palatable and they are much easier to eat. They are milder and with a little peeling one can pluck tasty pieces of flesh from them without mess. (I rather like grapefruit too but for me they require a bowl and a teaspoon.)

amaretti morbidi

An amaretto morbido is a soft almond-tasting cookie that makes a nice small dessert. They're a little on the sweet side but their gentle texture pleases.
