I've been looking into it and it's also seeming rather awkward from our position: unfortunately we have just part of a Victorian building on some historic register and our title deed seems very unhappy about anything that affects what it looks like from outside and, naturally, for our part, our external walls are all inconveniently historic, so not really anywhere for the outside part of the pump, and we have neighbors both above and below us.
