mtbc | Lyrics in songs

While my hearing is good I don't easily decode human speech: especially in the presence of background noise it takes a little effort. When I watch television I typically have the closed captioning turned on. I also do not notice many song lyrics.

Today

mst3kmoxie was discussing arrangements of Falco's Amadeus. Being curious, I checked the version I have from some old compilation CD and was surprised to discover that the recording is in German, not English. I think it says something about my attention to lyrics that I'd never before noticed that.
