God, Guns and Country

( It seems to me that Christianity entails complete submission to the mission. )

( The mission is peaceful, relating not to this life but the next. )

( Even if Jesus wields a whip in this world, )

( He is less sword-friendly than it might seem, )

( so what's the American Christianity that so often appears in the same sentence as 'guns'? )
