Transient improvement in eyesight

Last Fall I was prescribed reading glasses which I found helpful. They stopped being useful so I no longer wore them except for an occasional try. Recently I have found that I need them again. This coincides with a stressful family matter arising and being ongoing and now becoming more resolved. I wonder if the additional personal stress temporarily changed my vision for the better.
