mtbc | Dedicated server conclusions

The only low-cost provider I have yet found who offers instant unlimited KVM / IPMI is Online SAS although only among their not-cheapest options. Though, the more affordable of those at 30€/month (less some Gridcoin) is sold out; I shall be patient and keep an eye on their offerings. In the meantime I note that at home I do have a static IP without any ISP-imposed firewall and my router machine has more spare capacity to double as secondary MX, etc. than the hosted virtual instance that I currently use. It may be on the wrong side of ADSL but it would certainly suffice in a pinch while, at worst, I secure and provision a new primary.

In the meantime I have regenerated certificates, etc. for another period and fixed a small longstanding mistake in my MTA configuration. My personal life is offering more pressing non-computing concerns again so this migration can wait a bit longer.
